Luukas Ilves is deputy director and senior fellow at the Lisbon Council, a Brussels-based think-tank focused on Europe’s economic and digital renewal.

Luukas is an experienced policy maker in the areas of digital economy and society. He has served in various positions for the Estonian government and European Commission, most recently leading the team responsible for digital policy during Estonia’s EU Presidency. Luukas is a graduate of Stanford University and a reserve officer in the Estonian Defence Forces.
